Sometimes you will be asked to show your certificate of competence. Of course you own a certificate, but you do not have it available immediately. DNV has developed the DNV Pass for DNV certificate holders.

The DNV Pass is in credit card format, which you can easily carry. The pass contains a picture of the certificate holder and details about the certificate.

As per 1 January 2009 the DNV pass is available for certificate holders. Click on the link at the right of this page to submit your request.

Exception: We do not issue DNV passes for VCA certificate holders and welders.
